This morning, I met Jim and Diane. They own one of Baja Marvin's houses right next to the Castle here in Puerto Nuevo. They were heading out to Dr. Zamora's dental office in Rosarito. They drove in last night from the St. George Utah area. Jim said over the years they have probably brought Dr. Zamora $300,000 to $400,000 in dental work by referring friends and family.
I had heard Dr. Zamora was good. But I had no idea!
So not only do we have 30 lobster restaurants across the road, we have a great dentist just 8 miles away.
But there was more good news. Later today, Jim and Diane will be going down to Ensenada and Le Chateau winery. They say the olive oil and the wine are the best! They're going to bring me back some of each. Diane asked what kind of wine I liked. I said a dry red. She said the Cabs are good! A Mexican Cabernet Sauvignon! Looking forward to the experience.
I'm really looking forward to continuing the conversation with Jim and Diane. They said they only use olive oil and coconut oil for cooking. I am not alone in the universe! They also grow their own grapes and make their own wine.
Well, more elements for joy are falling in place.
